Thanks Corgi! I am aware of NoScript (although I last tried it over an year back) but it doesnt meet my needs since it is only in the recovery process that I would like to disable one or more elements. In fact, I dislike NoScript since it prevents sites from working properly and I am not fond of enabling JavaScript for the sites I trust. My usual problem is just a memory leak in one of these trusted sites and that's why I would just like to disable it during recovery of sessions.

Came here in search of a problem for my Quicksilver-FF3 issue--not what I was looking for, but I thought I'd let you know about NoScript. It works with FF3 and blocks all flash, Java, etc on sites unless you tell it to allow it. Very handy indeed. :)
