This website contains my thoughts on various topics ranging from web technologies to personal finance and has survived since 1999 in some form or the other, although the ByteVerse domain was only acquired in 2003.

Thanks Corgi! I am aware of NoScript (although I last tried it over an year back) but it doesnt meet my needs since it is only in the recovery process that I would like to disable one or more elements. In fact, I dislike NoScript since it prevents sites from working properly and I am not fond of enabling JavaScript for the sites I trust. My usual problem is just a memory leak in one of these trusted sites and that's why I would just like to disable it during recovery of sessions.

Came here in search of a problem for my Quicksilver-FF3 issue--not what I was looking for, but I thought I'd let you know about NoScript. It works with FF3 and blocks all flash, Java, etc on sites unless you tell it to allow it. Very handy indeed. :)
